Booking & Location Scouting

After agreeing on the date and the terms of the project, I will make a visit to your office or the location of your choosing to find the best place to setup my on-location studio and scout any other photo opportunities. Your team will also have access to my Headshots Prep Guide.

Setup & Shooting

I will arrrive at least 90 minutes before the first person needs to be photographed to setup my on-location studio. All sessions will be tethered and subjects will be able to see their photos throughout the session, this eliminates uncertainty about whether or not they are happy with their images.

Retouching & Delivery

All selected photos will be manually retouched in house and they will be delivered in different crops, usually 1x1 and 4x5, but other aspect ratios can be accomodated. Final images are delivered within 3 business days after the shoot.

How much space do you need to setup?

Each On-Location job gets the same level of quality than studio sessions. I don't need access to windows/natural light, in fact, the opposit is better. Throughout the years I've setup my on-location studio anywhere from big open conference rooms to staff kitchens, but as a rule of thumb any open 15x12 ft open space works.

Capture of Individual photos

During the headshot session, at least 3 full body photos will be captured to have different placement options for the final composite photos

Retouching and background removal

Eah photo will be retouch as if was a headshot or business portrait. The background will be removed and the the color fringed will be removed.

Compositing and color matching

A group photo will be assembled with the full body shots created during the sessions. If in the future new members need to be added or old members removed, it can be done without having to re-shoot the whole team

On-Location

Some times the whole team happens to be at the same place and time, this is the perfect opportunity to capture a group photo that can be used in the "About Us" or "Meet the TEam" section of the website.

My name is Mauricio. I’m a photographer and videographer in Calgary, AB. I run YYC-Headshots and MF Media Production. I help business leaders and their teams make a good first impression online. On the video side, I specialize in Facilities Tour Videos, Conference Highlights Videos, Corporate Documentaries.

Before becoming a full time photographer, I was a Reservoir Engineer for Husky Energy.
